Theft of wallet at Kathleen Food Mart

Polk County Sheriff’s Office detectives need the public’s help in identifying a suspect seen stealing a wallet in Lakeland.
On June 10, 2019, the victim entered the Kathleen Food Mart located at 6400 Kathleen Road in Lakeland to make a purchase. The victim left, but shortly afterwards realized he left his wallet on the counter. He returned and the wallet was gone.
When the store clerk reviewed the video surveillance, the suspect seen here was observed going through the wallet and then concealing it in his pocket. The unknown suspect exited the business and entered the burgundy truck seen here, which appears to be an older model Chevrolet 1500 extended cab.

Just before 1 am on Thursday, April 2nd, a PCSO deputy on State Road 60 in Winter Haven witnessed a gray Kia SUV traveling in his direction at a high rate of speed.
The speed of the car was measured to be 106 mph in a 55 mph zone.
